id4africa - presentation on BeyOND Card

Updated: Dec 14, 2020

ID4Africa Virtual Event took place on December 8-10, 2020. SECOIA and Lahnpaper presented the extended toolbox for BeyOND Card. Here the opportunity to look into the presentation once more.

The presentation introduces you to the companies, covering consultancy for governments and private sector, as well as the manufacturing of an astonishing substrate enhancing the landscape for documents and cards. Guest speakers from the field of Civil Registry, legal identity, children rights and the african identity community pitch their key thoughts on the subject of secure breeder and ID credentials.

Finally, and by popular demand, the existing toolbox for breeder documents such as birth registration and camp management documentation has been expanded. Now, we can provide most durable card-format documents, even more robust than polycarbonate-based implementations. The personalization is in color, including integrated 1st and 2nd level features, and enhanced by digitally encrypted data elements. The whole supply chain even in the issuance office encorporates additional checks and security features. Finally, the issuance speed is "very high", and the cost per piece makes sure, that governments making use of it will be capable of providing their citizens or refugees non-discriminatory services. The toolbox is brought to you by the Consortium for Robust Official Credentials (CROC), Lahnpaper and of course SECOIA.

The video runs approx 14 Minutes.
